Anita Lambert, MSc (PT), BKin (Hon), PMA®-CPT
I'm Anita, a pelvic health and orthopaedic physiotherapist with a holistic view on birth and health. Having gone through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery, I know that there are many conflicting opinions on 'what's too much or too little exercise' or even what type of exercise is safe and effective. You may worry if the many uninvited symptoms such as leaking urine, prolapse, diastasis and pelvic pain are normal or where to turn for guidance to maintain your health while trying to conceive, grow, birth and raise a little human being. This is why Holistic Health Physiotherapy came to be.
My physiotherapy practice is focused on guiding you to prevent and heal physical ailments that are common but shouldn't be considered your 'new normal' while preparing for or during pregnancy, birth and beyond. This will ultimately help you become stronger and more confident n your body more than ever.
“It doesn't just take a village to raise a child. It takes a village to raise a mama". I believe you deserve a support team during pregnancy, birth and beyond and would be happy to collaborate with other birth, health and fitness professionals to help you attain your health goals.

Teresa Bowskill, RYT, Certified Thai Massage Therapist
As a graduate of Lotus Palm Institute of Thai Massage and Traditional Bodywork, I am thrilled to be working with Salti Yoga to offer the ancient art of Thai Yoga Massage!
Thai Yoga Massage (or "nuad bo'rarn" in Thai) is a deep, yet slow and gentle healing practice, combining elements of Shiatsu and yoga. Pressure is often applied in a rocking motion along the energy lines of the body to ease you into blissful relaxation. The body is stretched to a comfortable limit and blocked energy is freed, leaving you feeling light and refreshed. Thai Yoga Massage is a fully clothed, full body massage, which promotes both physical and energetic healing. Some of the many benefits of Thai Yoga Massage may include:
Feeling limber all over
Ease in joints
Lower levels of stress
Relief from shoulder, back or neck pain
A better functioning immune system
A feeling of connection between body/mind/emotions
Relief from headaches and sinus pain
Ease for digestive disorders
I committed to teaching in 2013 and I continue to passionately study the many aspects of yoga. My endeavour is to guide students through a safe, breath-driven, strength building practice with individualized attention. This is accompanied with the loving touch of Thai Yoga Massage and positive affirmation. A sense of light heartedness, humour and therapeutic chanting are woven throughout my teachings.
In 2015 I launched YogAdventures with a sold out Yoga, SUP, Surf, Adventure Retreat in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. The adventure continues with annual local and international retreats. YogAdventureSUP, my mobile paddleboard company, offers instruction, guided tours, outings, rentals, SUP yoga and Indo board yoga. I continue to teach a variety of yoga modalities in Peterborough and Bailieboro. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me enjoying the great outdoors with my amazing family and many rescued pets!
We're seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our team! To apply, please email Kayla and Tara at email@example.com and outline what makes you a good fit for this position along with any areas that you specialize in. Please include a resume and your availability in your email.
Quinn K. Brunet, Reiki of the Second Degree in the Usui System of Natural Healing, RYT-300
Reiki is also known as "the laying on of hands". A gentle, non-invasive, healing practice that has been integrated into cancer and pre-natal treatment wards in various hospitals including the New-York Presbyterian Hosptial and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Shown to be extremely effective in stress reduction and relaxation, Reiki creates an environment for the body's natural healing to take place. With the guidance of a practitioner, the reiki can be channelled to focus the bodies healing energy to certain areas, used to balance the nervous system, emotions and/or chakras, or assess the state of ones wellbeing.
The client remains clothed and the practitioner places their hands either on or hovers above different parts of the body. *Touch is always optional and hand placement is always discussed to respect the receiver's comfort level.*
My practice is centred around creating a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment through strong and respectful communication to support you and your body through your healing process. In my experience over the past two years of working with clients, the ultimate healer is the one receiving treatment, and my role is but to facilitate your path in getting there.
Quinn is a strong-hearted and generally level-headed non-binary human from the queer communities of Montreal. Zie has had various trainings in anti-oppressive based support work, often focusing on mental health, and has volunteered in facilitating safe(r) spaces for marginalized communities.
Quinn moved to Peterborough a little over a year ago to pursue studies in Massage Therapy at Fleming College in hopes to continue integrating alternative healing, such as Reiki, with more mainstream forms of medicine, and to bring mainstream medicine in closer reach to marginalized bodies who, systemically, have limited accessibility.
