As a graduate of Lotus Palm Institute of Thai Massage and Traditional Bodywork, I am thrilled to be working with Salti Yoga to offer the ancient art of Thai Yoga Massage!
Thai Yoga Massage (or "nuad bo'rarn" in Thai) is a deep, yet slow and gentle healing practice, combining elements of Shiatsu and yoga. Pressure is often applied in a rocking motion along the energy lines of the body to ease you into blissful relaxation. The body is stretched to a comfortable limit and blocked energy is freed, leaving you feeling light and refreshed. Thai Yoga Massage is a fully clothed, full body massage, which promotes both physical and energetic healing. Some of the many benefits of Thai Yoga Massage may include:

I committed to teaching in 2013 and I continue to passionately study the many aspects of yoga. My endeavour is to guide students through a safe, breath-driven, strength building practice with individualized attention. This is accompanied with the loving touch of Thai Yoga Massage and positive affirmation. A sense of light heartedness, humour and therapeutic chanting are woven throughout my teachings.
In 2015 I launched YogAdventures with a sold out Yoga, SUP, Surf, Adventure Retreat in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. The adventure continues with annual local and international retreats. YogAdventureSUP, my mobile paddleboard company, offers instruction, guided tours, outings, rentals, SUP yoga and Indo board yoga. I continue to teach a variety of yoga modalities in Peterborough and Bailieboro. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me enjoying the great outdoors with my amazing family and many rescued pets!

I'm Anita, a pelvic health and orthopaedic physiotherapist with a holistic view on birth and health. Having gone through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery, I know that there are many conflicting opinions on 'what's too much or too little exercise' or even what type of exercise is safe and effective. You may worry if the many uninvited symptoms such as leaking urine, prolapse, diastasis and pelvic pain are normal or where to turn for guidance to maintain your health while trying to conceive, grow, birth and raise a little human being. This is why Holistic Health Physiotherapy came to be.
My physiotherapy practice is focused on guiding you to prevent and heal physical ailments that are common but shouldn't be considered your 'new normal' while preparing for or during pregnancy, birth and beyond. This will ultimately help you become stronger and more confident n your body more than ever.
