I am a passionate mental health care professional and advocate with over 10 years of experience managing and running individual and group therapy sessions. My yoga journey began in the midst of the pandemic where I had an opportunity to complete my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher, and Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Training. This allowed to me offer a variety yoga and meditation workshops to individuals with developmental disabilities during a very stressful time. Additionally through this training I developed my own personal practice which allowed me to create a powerful mind, body and breath connection. Having moved from Toronto to Peterborough, I instantly fell in love with small town living. When I’m not on my yoga mat I am either out exploring various lakes with my dog - Alaska, or reading a good book cuddled up with my cat - Rocket. I am so grateful to be a member of this yoga studio and part of this empowering community!
