Hey friends! It warms me so much to be a part of the Salti family and to share and learn and grow with all of you! I've been practicing yoga on and off since I was in my teens but it wasn't until about five years ago that I introduced a regular practice into my life. After spending over half of my life battling with an array of eating disorders and body dysphoria, my yoga practice initially began as an eating disorder recovery tool, but over the years it has grown to be so much more! I completed my 200hr training at Hot Yoga Peterborough and absolutely fell in love with teaching. I then took an additional 300hr training at Ashram Yoga, New Zealand, and throughout the years I've sprinkled on some yummy continued education nuggets that have allowed me to expand my practice beyond expectation. In addition to mindful movement, breath and meditation, I am also trained in Qi Gong and Yoga Nidra. It is my goal to create an inclusive, accessible and wholesome experience for every human that steps on their mat - no matter their experience level, age, shape, size, gender/agender, colour, ability - so that this practice truly becomes a practice for all as we move forward together on this journey toward self acceptance and self love.
